The Example Dashboard

To help you get started, Trundle shows a fully populated example dashboard on brand-new accounts, so you can see what a mature workspace looks like before you've added any data.

When you'll see it

If your account has no sprints yet, Trundle automatically displays the example dashboard using safe, pre-filled sample data. A banner at the top reads "This is an example dashboard."

What's in it

The example dashboard showcases the real dashboard's components with sample data:

  • AI Overview: how Trundle summarises project activity into a high-level briefing.
  • Action Items: how follow-ups and blockers are surfaced and tracked.
  • Team Activity: the live collaboration feed.
  • Sprint Breakdown: the charts and metrics that track progress.
  • Notepad: a shared scratchpad (pre-filled with sample retro notes).

Clicking around triggers a small spark animation. Nothing you do in the example is saved.

Switching to your real workspace

  • Click "Hide sample content" in the banner to dismiss the example and reveal your (empty) dashboard, ready for real data.
  • Creating your first sprint also replaces the example with your live dashboard.

FAQ

Can I break anything or save my changes?
No. Nothing you do in the example dashboard is saved to your account, so feel free to experiment.
Can I bring the example back?
The example only appears while your account has no sprints and hasn't been dismissed. Once you've created a sprint or hidden it, your real dashboard takes over.
